Why QCampervans?
Renting a campervan is a big step in planning your trip in Western North America! But that’s why it’s Q Campervans goal to make that decision a no-brainer. Although there are a lot of reasons as to why I think that you would love renting one of my vans, I will try to keep it simple. Customer service, drivability, and fully-equipped rentals is what I believe sets Q Campervans apart.
Even if you are above 6 ft tall, sitting in the vans is a breeze! (I’m 6’2)
Customer Service
This is a big one. Although every company has business hours, your trip doesn’t stop when my workday ends. As indicated by numerous reviews, I am always one call or text away from answering your questions and concerns during your trip. Let’s face it, not everything always goes according to plan but having assurance that in any scenario, Q Campervans is in your corner to help you, is a calming thought.

One final point on customer service is how my pick-up and drop-off’s go. When each of my renters arrive to pick-up a Q Campervan, the entire van is explained in detail. From driving the vehicle to showing you exactly how the shower and sink work, rest assured all your questions are answered before you embark on your trip. Again, I have a vested interest in making sure you feel comfortable and at home in a Q Campervan!

Drivability
Is it hard to drive a Q Campervan? Short answer is, no! Renting a larger vehicle can be intimidating, but often times my renters are surprised at how easy it is to maneuver and handle my vans regardless of where you take them.
Are there restrictions for where you can park, camp, and drive? Given they are all mostly low-roof Ford Econoline vans, the height classification allows them to be on pretty much every campsite without any issues. This is opposed to if you rented an RV, trailer, or even a full-size Sprinter/Transit campervan where many campsites do not allow them. Getting on ferries and driving on any government maintained road is made easy with a Q Campervan. Just make sure you tell BC Ferries or any other ferries service that the vehicle is 20’ long, and 7’ 3” tall.
What gas mileage do the vans get?
It depends on the van, but it ranges from 13-17L/100km. Each van will go for about 700-900km on a full tank. Big Blue (diesel) gets the best fuel economy and as an added bonus diesel sometimes is much cheaper than gas.

Fully-Equipped Rentals
What does “fully-equipped” mean? What do rentals include?
Potentially the greatest feature of renting a Q campervan is that all your needs are taken care of. There is no need to pay extra for a fridge, shower, or toilet. Everything is included. I do my best to make sure you have the necessary items and features to make your trip stress-free.
Electrical- It is extremely rare for any of my renters to even come close to running out of power. I tell them to treat the van like a “mini-house”. With 300 ah of lithium battery power, the vans have sooooo much power. It is tough to explain how much of a difference this makes, but many other rental vans simply have 1 battery and if you run out of power your trip comes to a screeching halt. Features- Does it feel good when you see the nightly price for a van and it looks cheap, then you start to realize all the necessary “add-ons” really don’t make the rental that cost effective…? Of course not! Thats why everything is included in the nightly price for a Q Campervan. Fridge, shower, toilet, camping chairs, cooktop, blankets, sheets and towels, dishes, cleaning supplies, water jugs, etc. Often my renters are surprised to find things not even listed on the booking page! Bear spray, salt + pepper, oils, spices, lighters, and more! Everything is included in the nightly price.
